Final episode of IFA coverage, a miscellany…

Ghost Pad is a large gaming-style mousepad that also acts as a touch-sensitive, web-programmable input device with 16 buttons, modular layouts, up to 10 modes, keyboard shortcuts, MIDI control, and optional wireless use, with a crowdfunding campaign planned in about a month.

Vivoo shows app-connected at-home testing kits where single-use paper tests are scanned after about 1.5 minutes for results across nine parameters, plus meal scanning, cycle tracking, and hormone and infection tests. They also show a smart toilet-bowl device that measures hydration for thousands of uses.

@PlantSenso and Willow show a moisture/light/temperature/humidity sensors for plants.

Finally, Mudita showcases an Android-based E-Ink phone for digital minimalism and privacy, with no Google services, an “offline plus” mode that cuts power to peripherals, an InkApps repository and OS 2.0 update planned for November, SIM and eSIM, about six days of battery life, and a headphone jack.
