Chronosphere is the steward for M3, the highly available time series database, and its commercial offering. I am the sole tech writer for both projects, and my role includes:
- Overhauling documentation and platforms
- Creating and maintaining a style guide and automated style checking tools
- Creating and maintaining tests, screenshot generation, and other documentation tools
- Editing and reviewing submissions from internal and external contributors
- Liaising and working with our developer relations and marketing teams for collaboration ideas
- Responsibility for metrics, planning, and delivery of documentation
Codeship is a fully customizable Continuous Integration service in the cloud and their blog is an industry respected leader for container and continuous integration content. I contributed an article on a monthly basis to the blog for two years. Codeship is now owned by Cloudbees.
Kauri is a ConsenSys spoke focussed on building a technical knowledge resource for the Ethereum ecosystem. I helped source writers to contribute content, edited their work, offered documentation support to projects, created technical writing training materials, and coordinated and mentored the community in better technical writing practices. Kauri lost its funding in 2020 and is now archived.
Coralogix automatically clusters millions of log records back into their patterns and finds connections between those patterns to form the baseline flows of each software individually, thus helping companies to get a hold of their log data and proactively solve their production problems. I contributed regular articles to their blog.
